We often provide advice to fund trustees and advisors who have ordered the wrong documents online and inadvertently caused their fund or their client's fund to breach the superannuation law or incur double stamp duty on a purchase. "Do-it-yourself" online document providers do not provide crucial advice in relation to the stamp duty for Western Australian purchases of dutiable property, and they will not warn a trustee if it is attempting to acquire an asset which it is prohibited from acquiring.
