Chris Hogan
For the past 25 years Chris has practised Superannuation Law exclusively. Prior to establishing his own firm in 1994, he was a partner in the national legal firm Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
Chris is a past chairman of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia Ltd (WA division) and a past Federal Councillor of ASFA and member of its Federal Policy Committee and its Federal Self Managed Funds Committee. He is also a founding member of the Small Independent Superannuation Funds Association and has served on SISFA's National Policy Committee.
Chris was for many years the chairman of the superannuation fund for Westrail employees. He is a frequent writer and speaker on superannuation law. He has presented at National and State conferences for ASFA, the Society of CPAs, the Tax Institute, the Financial Planning Association and the Law Council of Australia.
Chris loves hiking with his wife Sue, is a keen yachtsman, owns a much neglected saxophone and generally decides in August whether he will follow the Dockers or the Eagles.
